Diversity and equality are something that Siignals feels very passionate about and our aim is to create an equal working environment as well as take the lead in making substantial choices in the use of some of the outdated terminology used within the industry.

The Black Lives Matter movement last year lead the conversation in how we can make changes to reflect on the use of 'Master and Slave' and we have made the decision to not include the term slave in any of our literature or products. Therefore, we will be referring to our units as 'Master' and 'Subject'.

We understand that although this is a step in the right direction for equality, this may cause some confusion within your workforce. However, as we implement our product and within the training manuals, we will do our very best to help guide your team to understand this change.
